Session Monitor
Click to open the Session Monitor.
User activity
Information about the most recent user activity.
License limits for users
The total number of licenses in use (both regular and remote users currently logged in) vs. the total number of licenses configured. The LED is green in normal use, amber when load reaches 90% of capacity, and red when 100% is reached. The LED will stay at the highest color reached until you click Reset LEDs.
If the LED is often amber or red, you should consider purchasing additional licenses, or changing the most active Remote users to Regular users.

Activity tab

Background activity
Audit
If audit is not currently running, the status will be Idle.
If audit is currently running, the details will be displayed. The progress bar to the right indicates the audit status per account.
The status bar below represents the percentage of completion.
FC scripting
If FirstClass scripting is not currently running, the status will be Idle.
If FirstClass scripting is currently running, the details will be displayed. The status bar represents the percentage of completion.
Message activity
If a message is in the process of being delivered (sent/unsent) the activity will be displayed here.
If audit or FirstClass scripting is running, it will be displayed here.
Error summary
Information on the last error reported by the FirstClass server.
Disk activity
Provides information about the performance of disk-related server operations. This information may be used by Customer Support to investigate system performance issues.

Deliveries tab

Message delivery statistics
Reports on message delivery activity. "Incremental" means since last refresh.
Last reset
Click Reset to return all values in the Since Reset column to 0.

Queues tab

Message delivery
Reports on message task activity. Message tasks are a pool of tasks that deliver any type of message, but look for queued messages in the order: Urgent, Normal, Bulk. This ensures delivery in that order.
Status of other message queues
Some messages to other email systems and the Internet may not be reachable immediately. The message is queued for a later delivery attempt (delayed messages). As well, messages to other sites that depend on a gateway connection will be queued until the gateway connects at its scheduled time.
The LED is green in normal use, amber when load reaches 90% of capacity, and red when 100% is reached. The LED will stay at the highest color reached until you click Reset LEDs.
The capacity of your message queues depends on the amount of memory you have. If the LED is often amber or red, you should consider increasing the amount of memory on your system.

Volumes tab
The two subtabs (Primary and Secondary) contain the same fields.

Location
The drive where the volume is located. Used to select between multiple secondary volumes.
Reference ID
The volume's internal reference number (mirror source).
Disk usage
The amount of used disk space on the volume vs. the total available space. The LED is green in normal use, amber when load reaches 90% of capacity, and red when 100% is reached. The LED will stay at the highest color reached until you click Reset LEDs.
If the LED is often amber or red, you should consider increasing the amount of disk space on the volume, using multiple volumes, or decreasing the disk usage limit, or expiry limits of users. If a disk usage increase occurs suddenly, use the Disk Usage Report, located in the Stats.Dir folder within the FCPO folder (Windows) or FirstClass Post Office folder (Mac OS), to isolate the user with the high disk usage.
Purpose
The primary is always Full use. A secondary volume can be Full use or Limited use.
Mirror information
The LED shows the current status of the disk mirror. The LED is green for an active synchronized mirror (the mirror is synchronized with the exception of the files which failed - see Threshold value on the Volume Info form), amber when mirroring is paused, reconnected or continuing, red if it is failed, or inactive due to a mirror failure, and black if there is no mirroring configured.
Status
This describes the current status of the mirror.
Location
The drive the volume is mirroring to (mirror target).
Faults remaining until resynchronization
This value is the difference between the threshold value set on the Volume Info form and the number of faults you have received. When the threshold is exceeded, the mirror automatically begins resynchronization.
When resynchronizing, or when mirroring is resumed after being paused, the server will attempt to mirror the files that caused these faults and the value in this field will reset to the threshold value.
If the threshold is in close to being reached during a full synchronization, increase the threshold value on the Volume Info form to prevent a resynchronization attempt while synchronization is running. This is especially critical in large systems where full synchronization takes several hours or more. Once synchronization is complete, you may wish to pause and continue the mirror to attempt to resynchronize these files.
Synchronization details
This section will only display values during synchronization.
Elapsed time
The progress bar indicates the percentage of the synchronization that is complete. The elapsed time indicates how long the synchronization has been running.
Full queue
The total number of files on the volume to be synchronized.
This field applies to full synchronizations only.
Incremental queue
The number of files that have been created  or modified since the synchronization began. This value will increase with each new file.
Total
The total number of files from Full queue and Incremental queue.
Processed
The total number of files which have been processed (either successfully mirrored or queued as a fault).
Remaining
The total number of files remaining to be synchronized.
