Customer advisory OpenText™ FirstClass® 16.1 Service Pack 2 is now available
OpenText is pleased to announce the immediate availability of OpenText™ FirstClass® 16.1 Service Pack 2. This release includes a number of new features and fixes designed to help connect and engage your teams, and enhance productivity. FirstClass 16.1 SP2 includes a number of important fixes which may be essential to the operating environment. OpenText recommends installing this service pack on all applicable FirstClass installations.

What's new in FirstClass 16.1 SP2? OpenText™ FirstClass® Server
- New indexer spam detection
- Updates to administrative actions:
- Show Gateways will now activate a popup message with more details
- Changes to specific administrative forms can be tracked and notified through email to the user/administrator
- Ability to restrict mail list administrators to only local users
- New admin notification and log entry for when the mirror remains in a Paused state longer than the configured time
- Show Alarms will now activate a popup message with more details
- Updates to notifications:
- Using the swipe action, users can now access an item from a Permalink in device notifications
- Notifications will now be sent only to users who have requested to be notified
- Updates to Groups:
Single audit now reports group membership and their attributes Full audit now reports groups that have key attributes Show Groups will now activate a popup message with more details including a stats entry log Enhanced reporting for diagnosing groups New group option to configure user's inbox style in FirstClass Web Services New group-based password censorship list Ability to push password change requests to individual users or a group of users OpenText™ FirstClass® Desktop Client Contains a collection of fixes to customer-reported bugs OpenText™ FirstClass® Internet Services
- Ability to reject emails from untrusted or unauthenticated accounts
Ability to extend the attachment download request timeout longer than 2 minutes OpenText™ FirstClass® GO and OpenText™ Web Services To enable use of FirstClass GO, customers are required to install and run OpenText™ FirstClass® Web Services 16.0.0.006 or later on applicable FirstClass
servers. This cumulative update includes the following new features: Added client preference to the preferences form that separates the Mailbox into Inbox and Outbox Renamed 'Show Outgoing' to 'Show Sent' Renamed 'Show Incoming' to 'Show Inbox' New empty messages are now deleted on close The FirstClass GO Android version now uses Google Firebase Messaging Service for notifications
